Auzias is a professional family of fine artists and designers specializing in decorative painting, event enhancements, set decoration and window treatments. It's simple: We create the canvas in which you live. You provide the excitement!
Rebecca Salcedo
Rebecca
received her education in Fine Art and French at Seattle University and in Grenoble, France.
In 1992, She co-founded Auzias Designs, an apparel company, with Carolyn de Turenne.
She transitioned to Interior Design upon moving to Atlanta in 1999, and was a senior designer
for 7 years in the furniture industry. She received formal training in decorative painting
in Louisville and Atlanta, and has been certified by European Master Michel Nadai, in the art
of painting trompe l'oeil murals and ornamentation. Rebecca has been a painter and mixed media
artist for 20 years.

Kat Hagan
Katherine (Kat)
received her undergraduate in Fine Art Painting at the Tyler School of Art
at Temple University.
She then moved to Savannah where she received her Masters in
Computer Art at SCAD. After completing her education, she moved to Atlanta where she worked
as an Interior Design Consultant for 3 years. She has been an Art instructor for the
past 2 years in the Atlanta Metro area. Kat has been a freelance artist for 10 years, and she is well
versed in original concept illustration, theatre set decoration, prop design and fine art mediums.

Carolyn de Turenne
Carolyn
received her degree in Apparel Design in Seattle, and has worked as an apparel designer since 1992.
She co-founded Auzias Designs in 1992 with Rebecca. She has continued her career in apparel design with Nordstrom.com,
and Eddie Bauer in the Seattle area. Carolyn is an Senior pattern maker and designer, with a broad knowledge of fabric and design.
Megan Gryder
Megan
received her B.A. for Production Studies in the Performing Arts at Clemson University,
where she specialized in scene painting and design. For 5 years she has worked professionally
in the entertainment production industry and as a freelance artist in Washington DC, Baltimore,
and Greenville SC. She recently moved to Atlanta after getting married. Megan loves to apply
her theatrical scene painting knowledge to paint interiors and design murals for clients, and
creates custom sets or props for event companies. She is also working as a substitute teacher
at a private school and has contracts from local theatres such as GA Shakespeare.
