Beliefs

I believe in a few really important things beyond caring for family and friends: I think you should be aware of who you patronize; do those companies use their money wisely? do they support ecologically safe and humanitarian causes?
I think wherever you can, you ought to at least try to learn to recycle, reuse AND reduce. I truly believe that helping another will bring happiness and prosperity to oneself. I believe in “paying it forward”, but it is a bit overused as a term. I will say, it was definitely not invented in a movie. Ben Franklin was also pretty keen on the subject! I believe in helping animals and people!

Helping Animals

Haley_halloweenThere are dogs and cats in shelters which are so crowded, that they are being euthanized at ever growing rates. If you have extra space in your home and your heart, try to find the time to adopt one of the amazing little friends.

Pets make people happy. An instant cure for the blues. You wont be sorry!

paintingelephantI am committed to regularly offering products with proceeds benefiting specific causes.
My current endangered species cause: http://elephantsumbrella.org

Elephants are a symbol of good fortune and if you’re an artist, what better little aceo to have around than a lucky elephant artist?
When you purchase this product, you are helping endangered elephants! US $4.00 of every US $5.00 dollars raised goes to this important cause! Wont you help raise awareness too? This is an aceo print of an original painting by me, derived from photographic inspirations during my research on this subject. Rebecca Salcedo. This is a limited edition print, but we are trying to raise money for this worthy organization, so I will be extending my normal print edition and offering 1000 prints worldwide.

Helping People

You may not have unlimited funds with which to help people, but you still help in your own small way. It’s not always about money. It’s about your time, too. You may have all kinds of skills that would help others. Have extra craftingsupplies around the house? Donate them to a Senior Center or Youth Center near you. Start thinking about it!
